CONCORD, N.Y. (WIVB) – Representatives from the New York State Department of Transportation will be at Concord Town Hall Tuesday night, to answer questions about plans to replace the former Route 219 bridge. Construction is scheduled for 2015.

The bridge is over Cattaraugus Creek in the towns of Concord and Ashford. The current bridge remains open and has a maximum weight limit of 15 tons. Due to structural concerns, the existing bridge, built in 1956, was temporarily closed to all traffic in 2012.

The meeting is from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Concord Town Hall.
