Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan announced Thursday that he would increase spending on the state’s roads and bridges by $1.35 billion in the coming years. The announcement came as Hogan said he planned to move forward with the long-awaited Purple Line rail project, as long as costs can be reduced and Montgomery and Prince George’s counties can cover more of it.Read More
