Laurel: Hoping to piggy-back on the progress of Route 219 south, Continental 1 members have renewed a push in the Ebensburg-Carrolltown area. They are hoping for support from the public, businesses and other interested parties who are willing to form an association in northern Cambria County. “Roads are the rivers of the town,” said Meg Lauerman, Continental 1 executive director. They bring workers, students and tourists, she noted.
